Drug Rehab -- I'm Finally off Drugs

12/07/2007

My name is Jason. I am 26 years old and have been on a strong medication as far back as I can remember. Throughout my life I always felt different than everyone else, a black sheep--not many kids have to choke down heavy sedatives every morning. I never knew what it felt like to feel " normal." I was just always under the impression that I had better take my pills… or else!

Upon coming to this drug rehab it was recommended that I taper off my meds and implement a holistic regimen. I thought to myself " they're taking away from me the one thing that balances me out!?!?" Actually it was quite the opposite. It was the medication that actually numbed me for all those years.

Now that I'm 100 percent completely off my meds, I can finally sit, feel, and be comfortable with myself for the first time in my entire life. I thought I needed my meds to survive. Now I know that the pharmaceutical drugs were actually a type of poison that my family and I believed I needed. I'm so grateful for arriving at this drug rehab. My eyes are open to the world.

Thanks!

J.G.
